Diarrhoea
When you notice this it should be treated seriously. If the dog is eating meat remove this from the diet
until the problem is corrected.
Ears
Rough-edged ears are a nuisance and can be unsightly. The ears come time become
dry and almost sclaly to touch a good remedy is Vasline rubbed in to the ear.
Distemper
Very rare but symptoms include
husky cough, discharge from eyes and nose, loss of appititeand bowel upset. Seek vetinary advice immediatly
Rabies
A name to create fear. Rare in this country. seek advice immediatly
Worms
Most puppys are infested with roundworm and this must be dealt with quickly as it can lead to a stunting of the puppy's
growth. See a vet who will provide worming tablets.
